We greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We are thankful that God has directed you to visit our website. The articles and stories that you will find here are only a small part of the work that we are doing in Romania. Each story that you read and every photo that you see is part of a much larger story, one known only to our heavenly Father. That story is the battle for the eternal destiny of every abandoned child, forgotten widow, or poor leper. Our ministry has lived on this battleground since its beginning. God has always given the victory, but never without a battle. The testimony has always been claimed, but only after the time of testing. The triumph has always been embraced, but not without the trials of spiritual warfare. Please pause for a minute or two and read the special message that we have shared below. This is a brief report of recent developments within our ministry. Thank you for opening your heart to the orphans and widows of Romania.
Within the past year our organization has partnered with Lester Sumrall’s ministry, Feed the Hungry, to distribute food throughout Romania. Feed the Hungry provides containers of food and our organization sets up Feeding Centers (Soup Kitchens) in towns and villages around Romania. We are now feeding over 1000 children in eleven locations every day. This program has been a great blessing. The global economic crisis has torn many families apart in Romania resulting in thousands of hungry children begging for food, searching through garbage containers, and competing with stray dogs for scraps of food.
Since our organization is small, we do not have the huge support that other ministries have. There are a few churches that are standing with us as ministry partners, but other than this we have no professional fundraisers or traveling representatives who promote for our ministry. During the past three months, we have been contacted by at least fifteen pastors from towns in Romania who are asking us to set up a Feeding Center in their area. Mayors of cities are also requesting that we begin a Feeding Center in their town. In every place where we have a Feeding Center, we also have a revival in progress among the poor people and an increase in the local churches. If these additional Feeding Centers could be set up, Feed the Hungry will supply the food, and we will quickly increase the number of children that we are feeding every day.
Here is our problem…..we have cast the net into the water, as instructed by our Lord. Now, the catch is so abundant that we cannot bring it to shore. This is the story that we read in Luke 5:1-11. The solution for the disciples then and our solution for today is the same. We call to our brethren, churches, and pastors who have a heart for the abandoned children of Romania, and who share our Savior’s desire for their salvation and eternal destiny. If you will allow us to send our monthly reports to you for just four months, you will get to know our ministry and you will see that this is a genuine and sincere work of God.
If you are willing to receive and examine our ministry reports for the next four months, at no cost or obligation to you, please fill in the contact link on this website and just include your name and mailing address. If you do decide to partner with us, we only ask that you occasionally participate in our used clothing collection, canned good and peanut butter collection, or Christmas Shoebox Project. For churches that are able to contribute financially, we suggest a small monthly commitment that you are comfortable with. We also ask that you pray for us and ask God if He would have you partner with our ministry in this work of rescuing Romania’s children.
